Camphill Community Ballymoney is a warm, coastal residential service supporting up to 7 adults with an intellectual disability to live fulfilling, connected lives within a peaceful and inclusive community setting. Located on Searoad in Ballymoney, Gorey, Co. Wexford (Eircode: Y25 X499), the community forms part of Camphill Communities of Ireland’s unique person-centred model of shared living, working and learning. 

Set in a beautiful seaside location within walking distance of the coast, Ballymoney offers a tranquil and scenic environment where residents can enjoy the benefits of coastal living while remaining closely connected to their local community. The surrounding area provides a rich backdrop for everyday life, supporting wellbeing, relaxation and meaningful engagement. 

The community provides a homely and supportive environment across two residential houses — Ballymoney House and Seapink House — where residents are encouraged to develop independence, explore their interests and actively participate in community life. 

Residents in Ballymoney enjoy a wide range of Day Support activities, including: Horse riding, Cinema outings, Coastal walks, Arts and creative activities, Weaving and basketry, Cooking and gardening.

These opportunities support individuals to build skills, express creativity and remain active and engaged in their daily lives. 

Residents are highly involved in the local community, regularly accessing local amenities, social activities and services, promoting inclusion, independence and a strong sense of belonging.
