Camphill Jerpoint is a warm, rural residential service supporting adults with an intellectual disability to live fulfilling, connected lives within an inclusive countryside setting. Located in Jerpoint, Co. Kilkenny, the community forms part of Camphill Communities of Ireland’s unique person-centred model of shared living, working and learning. 

Set amidst the beautiful Kilkenny countryside, Jerpoint offers a tranquil and nurturing environment where residents are closely connected to nature and community life. Surrounded by open landscape and farmland, the community provides a peaceful setting that supports wellbeing, independence and meaningful daily living. 

The community provides a homely and supportive residential environment where residents are encouraged to develop independence, build relationships and pursue their personal goals within a close-knit and supportive setting. 

Residents in Jerpoint are highly active and engaged, with strong connections to a range of Southern Region Day Support Services. These include WatergardenJourneyman, and KCAT Arts Studio, offering a wide variety of opportunities for creativity, learning and personal development. 

Day Support activities include: Arts and creative programmes, Cookery and life skills, Social farming and horticulture, Community outings and recreational activities 

Residents are also actively involved in Camphill’s wider initiatives, including the My Dream Job Programme and the Voices Group, supporting pathways to employment, self-advocacy and meaningful participation in community life.
