Pottery, basketry, painting and candle making fill Dunshane’s workshops with colour and imagination. Creative programmes encourage self expression, focus and the joy of creating something unique and meaningful.
The kitchen is a warm and social environment where individuals learn practical cooking skills, prepare meals and develop confidence through shared experiences using produce grown on campus.
Gardens and polytunnels are central to life at Dunshane. Individuals learn organic growing, composting and sustainable cultivation while working together throughout the changing seasons.
The working farm creates opportunities for hands on learning through caring for animals, planting crops and participating in the rhythms of the land. Farm life encourages responsibility, confidence and belonging.
Swimming, yoga, movement sessions, walking groups and music all contribute to a strong culture of wellbeing and inclusion. Shared celebrations and seasonal events bring the wider community together in joyful participation.
