Slievenamon Day Opportunites provides inclusive learning and social programmes across multiple interconnected settings including The Granary in Callan, the farm and gardens in Grangemockler, and the creative workshops in Kyle. Guided by the HSE New Directions framework, every programme is person centred and designed to support confidence, creativity, independence and belonging.
Participants are supported to explore weaving, farming, horticulture, cookery, basketry, IT, independent living skills and creative arts while building meaningful friendships and community connections.

The Granary in Callan provides programmes in employment preparation, IT, literacy, cookery and independent living skills within a welcoming town based environment designed to support confidence and everyday participation.
The farm hub at Grangemockler creates opportunities for hands on agricultural learning, animal care and organic growing while encouraging responsibility, confidence and connection to the land.
Gardens and polytunnels support programmes in seed sowing, harvesting, composting and organic cultivation, creating meaningful connections with nature and sustainable community living.
“The Bubble” is a purpose built creative environment where individuals explore weaving, pottery, painting and mosaic work while developing confidence, focus and artistic self expression.
The therapy building and basketry room in Kyle provide calm and supportive environments where individuals work with willow and natural materials to create handcrafted pieces while strengthening coordination, creativity and wellbeing.
